Fireworks

I started out the night with a grand vision of getting the perfect scene where the fireworks would fit exactly where I wanted them in the picture. By doing some scouting last night, I thought I had found a scene that would incorporate the suspension bridge, the Brazos River, and some of the Waco skyline.

Fast-forward to tonight, and I realized I had underestimated two things; the crazy amount of people that pack downtown Waco for the firework show and how high the fireworks were shot in the sky.

After realizing these two things, I put plan B into action and tried to get to the highest point I could in an effort to get an unobstructed view and still some Waco skyline. I ended up on top of a Baylor parking garage, and while I did get a clear view, the skyline didn't quite work out like I had envisioned.
